Why we're building HabitCure.
HabitCure started with a walk, a hunch, and a question no wearable had answered: what if your body was already telling you what was about to go wrong?
The insight
Every wearable on the market tells you what happened. Your heart rate spiked. Your glucose crashed. Your sleep was fragmented. Nice — but that's a report card, not a warning.
Real biosignal work is about drift. About the slow, days-long deviation from your personal baseline that precedes the event. About the paired window between a cause and its consequence. About the conflict when two signals disagree and one of them is right.
That's the engine we've been building. One inference brain — Cardiac Drift, glucose morphology, LSI, paired-window athletic, pathway conflict — running across four editions of the same app: Consumer, Elite, Pro, and Military.
The team
HabitCure is a small, senior team plus a set of frontier AI collaborators we treat like real teammates. We name them because they do real work.
Humans
Rick Duchin

Eric Jay Duchin
Named inventor on all five HabitCure USPTO provisional patent filings — Cardiac Drift, paired-window athletic, pathway conflict, cranial sensor array, and PROV006 sensor fusion. The methods run inside the engine that powers every edition of the app.
AI collaborators
We work in the open with a set of frontier models. Each has a defined role. None of them make final calls on medical claims, patent language, or shipped copy — a human always signs off. But they do real work every day.
Devin
Ships production code. Cognition Labs' autonomous engineering agent runs pull requests against habitcure-consumer, habitcure-elite, habitcure-professional, and habitcure-military. Writes TypeScript, React Native, and Node. Never pushes to main. Every PR is human-reviewed before merge.
Claude
Anthropic's Claude runs deep architecture reviews, security audits, patent claim drafts, and long-form technical writing. Signs its reviews as HabitCure. Guardrail: never claims medical accuracy, never invents clinical numbers, always flags risk.
Perplexity Computer
Runs multi-source research, competitive teardowns, patent landscape analysis, podcast pitch prep, and the pipeline that built this website. The research brain behind the strategy documents linked from the press kit.
Rick's ChatGPT
OpenAI's ChatGPT is the founder's daily thinking partner — quick drafts, product debates, first-pass copy. Whatever passes review gets sent to Claude or Devin for build-out.
