Health data policy
How we handle health data.
HabitCure works with Apple HealthKit, continuous glucose monitors, and wearables. This page tells you exactly how that data flows. Last updated July 2, 2026.
Apple HealthKit
HabitCure reads from Apple HealthKit only after you explicitly grant permission in Settings → Connected Devices. We read the categories you approve — nothing more. We never write to HealthKit without your knowledge.
Continuous Glucose Monitors
We integrate with Dexcom, Abbott Lingo, Abbott Stelo, and other CGMs through official APIs or through Apple HealthKit. We store readings on your device and on our encrypted server so we can compute drift patterns across days and weeks.
Other wearables
Oura, Whoop, Garmin, and Fitbit data flow through Apple HealthKit today. Direct integrations are planned for late 2026.
What we compute
We run 6+ patent-pending algorithms on your data: Cardiac Drift, Glucose Morphology, LSI, Paired Window, Pathway Conflict. Computation happens on-device wherever possible. Server-side computation is used only when the model requires it (e.g. for cohort baselines).
Retention
- Raw device data: retained as long as you keep your account
- Derived scores: retained as long as you keep your account
- Server logs: 30 days, no PHI
- Doctor PDFs on server: 24 hours max
Deletion
One tap in Settings → Privacy → Delete Everything. All server data is purged within 30 days. Local data is wiped immediately on device.
