Accessibility statement
Built to be readable.
We want HabitCure — the app and this website — to work for everyone. This page is a live account of where we are and where we're going. Last updated July 2, 2026.
Our commitment
HabitCure targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the website and the iOS app. We prioritize accessibility as a first-class product concern, not a compliance checkbox.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML with proper heading structure across every page
- Text contrast ratios of 4.5:1 or better on body copy, 3:1 or better on large text
- All interactive elements reachable via keyboard, with visible focus states
- Descriptive link text — no "click here" or "read more" without context
- Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging
prefers-reduced-motionrespected on animated elements- Alt text on all meaningful images
iOS app accessibility
- Full VoiceOver support on every screen
- Dynamic Type — the app respects your iOS text-size setting
- High-contrast mode support
- Haptic feedback for key events (paired-window intervention prompts, alerts)
Known gaps
We ship weekly and we don't hide our misses. Current known accessibility gaps:
- A few chart types on the dashboard don't yet expose data as an accessible table alternative — planned for the August 2026 build.
- Some historical blog posts (pre-July 2026) may lack alt text on inline images — being reviewed.
